About
The daily history guessing game
Eraly is a free daily history game. Every day you get seven moments from history (a battle, an invention, a famous first) and you guess the year each one happened.
Think of it as Wordle for history: one puzzle a day, the same for everyone, and a result you can share without spoiling the answers.
How to play
- Read the moment, type the year, press GO.
- You have 25 seconds per question.
- The closer your guess, the further your explorer travels through time.
- After each answer you see the real year and a short fact about it.
Scoring
Each guess earns one of six scores, up to 700 a day:
- 100 Timekeeper: the exact year
- 85 Chronicler: close
- 60 Historian: near
- 30 Explorer: rough
- 10 Tourist: anything else
- 0 Lost in time: no answer
The further back an event is, the more years you can be off. Being 20 years out for Pompeii is a great guess; for the iPhone it isn't.
